Hi,
I've got a C-Programm which is transforming data. This data (about 60.000.000 entries) is then loaded into a db2 database by using the CLI "Load" function. The programm is sequentiel, no fork() is called anywhere. (I buffer 40.000 values before starting load).

For small numbers (about 100.000 entries) everything works fine. But when I try to load the total amount of data, my programm exists with:

SQL2044N An error occurred while accessing a message queue. Reason code: "1

and afterwards:

SQL2044N An error occurred while accessing a message queue. Reason code: "3

Why is db2 using so many message queues? (I've already increased the max. number of message queues.)

My understanding in programming is:when i call a subroutine, my mainprogram is waiting until the subroutine finished. So "load" should be finished when i start to load a new block of data, and the number of used message queues should be quite constant.

My system is: db2 v8.1, suse linux 8.2

Any hint is appreciated
