    Unanswered: CONNECT Type 2

    DB2 V7.2 on AIX 5

A java program is coded to make a type 2 connection (for two phase commit) .

From the database commands/utilities/statements etc, is there a way to confirm that the connect is of type 2 ...
Can I identify the syncpoint setting of the connection ?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions ..

    Cheers

    Re: CONNECT Type 2

I think you can verify the connection type in the package description or bind file descriptor. No idea about how to check using other methods...

Regarding syncpoint..how about looking in db2cli.ini file.
