    Unanswered: 7.2 vs 8.x manuals

I am just moving to DB2 for the first time. My product will be using 7.2 express fp10.

I am finding it very difficult to locate any 'user friendly' admin guides for this product. Everything I am finding is for 8.x

I see the 7.2 guides on the link given to IBM's site. I was hoping to find something that is a little easier to understand.

Are the differences in 8.x from 7.2 subtle enough that I could use the literature. or does anyone have any info on older books

If you go to www7b.boulder.ibm.com/dmdd , you will find a link for DB2 New comers ..

Do you have experience with other RDBMS ? If so there are tutorials on the same site to help you pickup db2 easily
