    Unanswered: Rounding up currency & export into text file

    Hi all,

    I'm having a problem with access. I'm supposed to round up whatever values to the nearest whole number. For e.g.

    51.35 to 52.00 or
    36.80 to 37.00

    My values appear in a form and table but not in query.

    But the round function doesnt seem to be able to work. Can someone help?

    Also, can someone teach me how to export these rounded up figures into text file?

    Thanks!

    Try:
    1) Searching the access help for exporting to textfiles
    2) Searching the forum

    Why would you want to round 51.35 to 52.00?

    Wouldn't you just want everything rounded to the nearest Integer?
    So 51.35 = 51

    If so use Int([value])

    ohh and to export you have to create a Macro.

    Use the action "TransferText" and the rest is pretty self explanitary

    Because that was what was required of me to do... So I need to, for e.g. for 51.32, round it up to 52.00...

    But the int function can do it... I was only told can write an expression under the form to do this. But I tried many times, I still didn't manage to succeed...

    I wonder if anyone can help...

    how about int([value]+0.99)
    this would make
    51 => 51.99 => 51
    51.01 => 52 => 52
    51.XX => 52.XX => 52

    Regards
