    Question Unanswered: SQLCONNECT: What is the correct syntax?

    Good Day!

    I am implementing SQL Anywhere v5.5.05 or a Windows 2000 environment. I have question on the variable assignment syntax of SQL CONNECT. Here is my script; please inspect for accuracy.

    "ENG#SQLANY_VPN;LINKS#TCPIP(host=sfaroche.ind.roch e.com,ServerPort=2638;UseUDP=OFF;DOBROADCAST=NO)"

    SQLCONNECT: ASA v5.5.05

    Good Day,

    Thanks for your prompt feedback! I need a working example for SQLCONNECT. This information does not identify a database, therefore a user ID and password is not required. However, I do need the correct syntax for the keyword values that are ascribed to the SQLCONNECT, environmental variable. Below is my latest script that is generating connection errors at the client end.

    "ENG=SQLANY_VPN;LINKS=TCPIP(host=sfaroche.ind.roch e.com;ServerPort=2638;UseUDP=NO;DOBROADCAST=NO)"
