Unanswered: searching for a string in a clob field

    hi all,

i am trying to search for a string in the clob field in one my tables. i used to use 'like' keyword for all the varchar fields, but as i use the same keyword for the clob field, it is throwing me an exception like 'inconsistent datatypes'.

Do we have any function or any other keyword to do so. I would greatly appreciate any response.

    thanks much

Bessie Braddock: Winston, you are drunk!
Churchill: And Madam, you are ugly. And tomorrow, I'll be sober, and you will still be ugly.
