    Question Unanswered: Alternative to using ME keyword for public functions?

    hi, I want to call a function from several places where I do not have to specify the form (name), liken this:

    strCLIno = Me.Parent.cboSelectClient

    But if I do that , the project does not compile: Invalid use of ME...

    What is the way around this, creating a variable that reflects the current form, and use that instead of Me, declared with the same private

    Is there a way to refer to the current form, say, CurrentForm(),
    or Form().parent.etc.... ? With those words I get "Sub or function not defined".

    You can pass the Me to the function.

    Function(me) or Function(me.name) -passing the name obivously -

    Hope it helps you along....

    Regards
