    Unanswered: Application ID

I am using db2 v8.1.4 on win2k machine. I have a small number of applications connecting to this database. Now I did a "list applications" from db2 command window - in order to know how many applications are connected at any given point. I obtained an application id such as "GA4210A2.I90F.00D943064603". This is not easy to interpret since its a hexadecimal number. My question is: Is there a easier way to know the actual machine name?

    Appreciate your help.

I believe that the last part contains the IP address, but it may be in hex or need some other decoding of the high order digits.

    Re: Application ID

Try using "get snapshot for application"
One the output parameters should have an ip address (depends on cominication protocol)
