Question Unanswered: Stand alone SQLplus installation?

    Hello.
I have to execute an Oracle PL/SQL script on a PC without SQLplus installed. It is not possible to install SQLplus on this PC with the Oracle8i Installation, because this is too large to ship with the tiny script.
So my question is: Is there a standalone edition of SQLplus or a similar program to execute Oracle8i PL/SQL statments? I only need the SQLplus console to execute an script file.

    Thank you for your hint.
But iSQLplus seems to be an Oracle9i/10g program? Unfortunately I need something like that for an Oracle8i system.

Not sure if this is any use to you as you're 8i but there's a small Instant client for 11g (may be one for previous versions not sure.

    SQL*Plus

    Good luck

I ran an 11g sqlplus client against an 8i database everyday. Oracle doesn't care.

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
