    Unanswered: Wildcard Help

    I HAVE A TABLE WITH CUSTOMER NAMES AS A FIELD WITHIN THIS FIELD SOME CUSTOMER NAMES HAVE ASTERISKS (ie. JOHN SMITH*). i WANT TO WRITE A QUERY THAT WILL FIND ALL CUSTOMER NAMES WITH ASTERISKS. CAN ANYONE HELP?!!!!!!!!!

    LIKE "*[*]*"

    why do you have *'s in your customer names? That's HORRONDOUS table design.

    just for the record- i didn't design the database. This table is created from a download out of our main database. I am forced to use this information. But I figured out how to do it...see above.
