    Unanswered: sqlplus /nolog problem

    on my host servers, when I issue sqlplus /nolog I get two prompts.
    Anyone know how I can remove this?
    It doesn't happen from the client.

    this is what happens:

    You've probably got a glogin.sql script under

    $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/admin

    is that bad?
    what should I have? just a login.sql?

    glogin.sql/login.sql

    It isn't bad - it just sets up the sqlplus session on login.
    If the script doesn't ask for these parameters, then something else is responsible.
