Question Unanswered: Problems with DB2 offline backup

    DB2 v 5.2 (really).

    Anyone help please?

We've just attempted to do an offline backup of our machine. The backup states in the journal that it's running, but no backup file is being created. We can continue to use our system, log files are being generated as usual, which indicates that no backup is running.

Trouble is, we don't know how to "stop" this backup - control center journal does not give us the option to stop it. Obviously we currently can't take another backup - even the standard "online" one we normally do.

Anyone know any way, short of re-installing DB2, that we can get round this problem - any command line we could enter?

And yes, we are planning to upgrade the version - I'm only the machine minder!!

    Any help gratefully received
