    Exclamation Unanswered: win os boot

    urgent i need to know how to have a multy os boot for windows 98 and windows xp on two seperate hard drives

    Although it is an ACCE$$ Forum, but can answer yur question:

    Install Windows 98 at first on an FAT32 (better) or FAT16 on one of your hard drives, then install Windows XP, it will list you your attached hard drives and its partions, then choose the partion you want on the drive you wish, install it and it has its own boot manager.

    When you start your system, a Menu will be shown to choose the old System which is [Windows 98] or XP

    sorry about putting it in the wrong spot but i did everything you said and it wont load win 98 i have to remove my win xp drive in order to start win 98 any other help would be nice sorry again about putting this in the wrong topic
