    Wink Unanswered: IMP-00038 Error

    Hi,
    I have a small problem. 2 years ago I have exported one table in a company "A" with EXPORT V08.01.07.
    Now I'm at the other company "B" and I'd like to import this table here.
    If I'm exporting now a simple test table; inside its *.dmp file is:
    EXPORT.V08.00.05.

    And after starting an:
    imp80 user/pwd@db file=name_a.dmp fromuser=user_a touser=user_b ignore=y

    I'm getting the error:
    imp-00038 could not convert to environment character set's handle.

    As I know in that company A and now in company B is the same
    NLS=AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1

    I have also set here in company B:
    ORA_NLS=$ORACLE_HOME/ocommon/nls/admin/data.

    The OS of ORACLE DB Server is WIN2000 and the client is also WIN2000 where
    I'm doing it in CMD window manually.

    What are your suggestions to correct import of these data in this new
    environment?
    Below is the Log output:

    Connected to: Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.6.3.0 - Production
    With the Partitioning option
    JServer Release 8.1.6.3.0 - Production

    IMP-00038: Could not convert to environment character set's handle
    IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

    Best Regards
    Zbig
