Unanswered: Access 97/SQL Server - Any User Limits?

Currently looking at a system that has an Access97 frontend and SQL Server backend. Proposed enhancements mean that user concurrency is likely to increase to 60+.

Has anybody got any experience with this architecture, and are there any limits on concurrent user numbers with this configuration?

    Any help much appreciated.

I wasn't sure of the answer to this question so I did a search for Ms Access Maximum Users and got this link...

    http://www.databasezone.com/techdocs/acclimit.html

But then I remembered you wanted to know the answer for Access 97... Again I searched and found this link...

    http://aerohost.com/SQL-host.htm

Looks like the answer is... Maximum concurrent users = 255 (for 97, 2000 and 2002)

    HTH
