    Unanswered: SQL Plus SET commands...

    I am just learning oracle and I am creating a table but I want the data in the columns to be seperated by periods(.) so it looks like this...


    John Stewart.....................10-MAR-80
    Alissa Funk........................22-FEB-84


    What is the set command to separate the columns like this?

    You would probably want to use an RPAD in your select statement rather than a SET in SQLPLUS.
