    Unanswered: DLookup

    i think i'm gettin stupider

    wats wrong with this lookup

    DLookUp "[Referenced_File_Number]","Convention_Priority_Table","[File_Number_Link_ID]=[File_Number_ID]")

In my query, i have included file_Table which contains the file_number_id

    it says
Microsoft access cant find the name 'file_number_id'

Try this... (assuming both fields in the where clause are numeric data)

    DLookUp "[Referenced_File_Number]","Convention_Priority_Table","[File_Number_Link_ID]=" & [File_Number_ID])
