    Unanswered: ADO Query

    I'm starting to convert our Delphi applications to use ADO instead of BDE. First, I get the error 'Parameter object is improperly defined' on an ADO query. Using the Object Inspector, I removed the parameter clause, added the query fields and added back the parameter clause. Error was gone.
    Then, I get the error 'Not enough storage is available to complete this operation' when a query is activated. Using the Object Inspector, I removed the parameter clause and defined the SQL and parameter statements in the code itself. Error was gone.
    Then, I get the error 'unspecified error' when the same query is activated.
    The query is quite simple: 'SELECT CO_KEY, CO_NM FROM COMPANY
    WHERE CO_KEY:=CO_KEY'

    What else can be done? We're using Delphi 5 on an Oracle 8i database.

    := is not a valid notation in the where clause in Oracle

    Correction: The statement was

    'SELECT CO_KEY, CO_NM FROM COMPANY
    WHERE CO_KEY=:CO_KEY'
