Unanswered: How do I get the value of the field on a report

I have a report with grouping levels:

    Report Header:
    txtlabel
    1st grouping level
    2nd grouping level:
    footer of 2nd grouping level:
    ntxt_mem

the problem is: I need to copy the information of ntxt_mem -field to a label on the Report header (txtlabel).
How can I do that in VB?
When I try to do this : txtlabel = Me.ntxt_mem.Value I get an error report: Runtime error 2465 : Microsoft access can't find the field ntxt_mem referred in your expression

ntxt_mem is a what? Text control? Is it bound to a column? Why are you trying to set the label this way?

ntxt_mem is a field that contains data from a query. I want to get the data of ntxt_mem to txtlabel because of a test regarding removing html tags from the data of ntxt_mem. Because ntxt_mem contains html tags the information is hard to read on reports.

It seems that ntxt_mem field isn't recognized whether I use "Me." or not. As I said earlier I want to get the value of ntxt_mem to a label after the html tags in the contents have been cleared out.
