Lightbulb Unanswered: DBO -- What is it ?

    I have an another kestion.
In sql server of microsoft, I always see a dbo.???

    Ex: SELECT dbo.SEJOURS.num_sej, dbo.APR_DRG.[APR_DRG], dbo.APR_DRG[Med/Chir]
    FROM ....

I don't understand this syntax and I have to convert it into sql for oracle.
Someone can explain me this "select" or can bring an url with a good explain of sql server syntax ?

dbo is this case is the owner of the tables you are selecting from.

    ex: dbo.SEJOURS.num_sej
    owner . table . column
