    Unanswered: Omit selected record

Is there a way to omit a selected record, say I was to filter my database based on a certain field, and then I want to remove a couple of the records from the filter, but I dont want to delete them from the database. Can this be done, it is really simple to do in Filemake pro...

You can continually Filter Excluding Selection until you have no more records.
All code ADO/ADOX unless otherwise specified.

In filemaker pro you can apply a filter, and then select a single record and omit it without deleting it. Can this be done in Access?

    Thanks

If the data design is there because you can filter excluding the selected ID value.

I am not aware of a specific Filter Excluding This Record menu item. I believe the filters are evaluative.
All code ADO/ADOX unless otherwise specified.
