Red face Unanswered: MySQL import from Sybase

    Hi all,

I am really FED UP with Sybase and want to move my database to MySQL but do not know how to do this.

To move the whole database...TABLES and DATA ??

I installed the MySQL 4.0.7-max under windows and the JDBC jconnector driver.

Any help, tips, GUI tools recommended for this job would be VERY VERY much appreciated.

ALSO - is it true MySQL does not support VIEWS ?? any idea when or if it will?

You will need to use text export from Sybase.

And use LOad data to import data

MySQl does'nt support views yest. If you need to use views /and/or database procedure.
    You should use MySQl Maxdb.
