Red face Unanswered: EXPORT Sybase 11.0.3.3 to MySQL ?

    Hi all,

I would like to move my Sybase database to MySQL but do not know how to do this.

To move the whole database...TABLES and DATA ??

I installed the MySQL 4.0.7-max under windows and the JDBC jconnector driver.

Any help, tips, GUI tools recommended for this job would be VERY VERY much appreciated.

I realize 11.0.3.3 is really old, but it was a good choice at first while I had someone here that could support it. But now it is just too difficult for my needs.

    Thanks

    1) Use Powerdesigner to exactract the ASE 11.0.3 DDL and transform it using the MySQL syntax.
    2) BCP out -c each table
    3) import these csv files using the MySQL tools

Steps 2 and 3 can be executed via DTL, Pipeline (e.g. using MS-Access and its link tables, etc)
