    Unanswered: Another Expression question...

    Hi folks,
I heve a query thath searches for Zip codes.
Nothig real fancy but I just looked though the data and...
I seem that data has zip codes save in two diffrent ways:

    12345 and
    12345-1234

When I search for records in a certain zip code say 94112
how can I get the records that listed as 94112-xxxx ?

    Thanks

And the simplist way would be to do: LIKE '94112*' for example ...

Paste the following into your SQL View Pane and see what effect it has on your QBE Grid. Assuming your table that holds zip codes is called Address.

SELECT * FROM ADDRESS WHERE ZIP LIKE '94112*'
All code ADO/ADOX unless otherwise specified.
