    Unanswered: filtering a text box

I'm not super familiar with vb and access, most of my experence is with webbased databases. What I am trying to do is have a text box in my form footer do something like this, =SUM([field1]) but with a filter ei: "WHERE field2=0". In other words my text box will display the sum of all the values of field1 where field2=0. I can't find anyway to make this work, does anyone have any suggestions? thanks for your help.

Try creating a new invisible field that has a sourve of:

    =IIf(Field2=0,Field1,0)

Then in your footer Sum that field.
