    Unanswered: T mismatch

Trying to access visio through access
    wrote a function, very simple...

    Public Function Change(shapeobj as visio.shape)
    ...
    End Function

then i tried to call it in a command.click function

    Change(shapeobj), where i already defined shapeobj as a visio.shape

    and it says, "Type Mismatch"

    help?

    Try this:

Declare you function without 'as visio.shape' It will force 'shapeobj' to take a data type of whatever is passed.

    Public Function Change(shapeobj)
    ...
    End Function
    I won't byte... hard!
