    Lightbulb Unanswered: Execute_Query

    hii allz

    i wante to know if it is avalible to do the follwing:


    i wrote form level trigger which is key-exeqry which fire when ever i try to execute my query.

    that is ok

    can i write a code inside this trigger to make me run the default procdure of Execute_Query with out allwing to key-exeqry to fire

    what i mean

    if i want my query to be coustomized some time and other to be the default function

    so if i want to be coustomize i run the key-exeqry

    if i wante the defult i call execute_trigger('Execute_Query');
    and this shlud not fire the key-exeqry or it will be infint loop and hang my computer

    When you want the default functionality, just call the EXECUTE_QUERY built-in directly. The KEY-EXEQRY will not fire.

    If you wanted the KEY-EXEQRY to fire you would call DO_KEY('EXECUTE_QUERY').

    and i should try it out

    and one more question is that mean

    if i don't want to fire the trigger i just call the function with out do_key?

    and is there restriction for this ?

    No, you always have the choice: <builtin> to bypass the trigger, DO_KEY('<builtin>') to fire the trigger.
