    Unanswered: export a date

    hi all,

    i am try to query a table in which i have a date/time field.
    in this format:

    22/01/2003 22:00:00

    i want to export this data to a text file, but i only need the date part not the time.

    I am able to call a date funtion in the query:

    EntryDate: DateValue([entry_date]), which returns in a query;

    24/11/2003.
    ------------------------------------------------

    Its when i come to export this i get

    24/11/2003 00:00:00

    It removes the data from the time value, but not the mask.
    I cannot alter the source table as it as of part of information that is needed else where. Thanks in advance for the help... dave

    Or if there aren't any Nulls (blanks) this could work:

    Left([MyField], 10)
