    Unanswered: db2move getting sqlstate 42601

    Hello,
I want to copy a db from one wins2000 server to another wins2000 server.
From the CLP I am issuing the following command:
    db2move dbname export -u username -p password

However, I'm getting an sqlstate 42601 error msg.

    The userid has admin access.

    Any ideas?

    Thnx

If you want to move the entire database, it might be easier to do a database backup and restore.

try doing this without the -u & -p parameters.

Also, I'd create the database with output from the db2look cmd. Db2move import will not create indexes, constraints, etc...., it'll only create the tables, and load the data
