Post Unanswered: Date creating my life miserable

    Hi All,

I am migrating our company's database from MS ACCESS to MySQL. In MySQL date format is yyyy-dd-mm but in our current ACCESS database we stored dates in mm-dd-yyyy. I decided to separate all three in a query and to concatenate again as per MySQL format in next query. I already separeted mm and yyyy in select query but I also want to select dd from mm-dd-yyyy but dd is bugging me alot. If anyone has any idea how to get just dd from mm-dd-yyyy please help me out.

    Thanks in advance

Why don't you just format the date to your new specification? Remember internally a date is stored as a number ... Just query for the date in question in the MySQL format.
