    Question Unanswered: find and replace

Hiya's - first post to the forum, but a religous lurker =)

Here's what I want to do...

I would like to add the Find & Replace tool in Access on to an Access form. I would settle for simply calling it via a button on the form, but accessing it via a toolbar is not an option. Is this possible?

    Thanks,

    kk

If it's a bound form, you can use:
    DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 10, , acMenuVer70

Keep in mind that you may need to change 10 to 11 or 9 depending on where your Find menu item is. I couldn't find its intrinsic constant (which would be a lot better).
All code ADO/ADOX unless otherwise specified.

If you just want to replace a known value, and you're using >=Access2000, Replace() is a standard function.
All code ADO/ADOX unless otherwise specified.
