    hello,

I am getting the following error in the Production DB
    NCC0108: Fatal Error. Exception text: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/6000]
SQL0911N The current transaction has been rolled back because of a
deadlock or timeout. Reason code "68". SQLSTATE=40001
    Action: 0 Object: Parameter : Route Distinguisher = 13979:6468
    (2004-04-17 - 9999-12-31).

The database is on AIX and V7

I got the similar problem several times on Test DBs ,I forced all aplllication off and sometimes reactivating the database It worked fine which i cannot follow on production

I had gone through the Db engine problem determinatiuon PDF which discuss about getting the snapshot of locks and applications

I need some guidence from you people to get rid of this deadlock
    thx

    regards

This seems to be a timeout (and not deadlock) issue ...

Only a snapshot will be able to give you an idea ...

Since you have seen this problem in testing, why not try the same in testing env to identify the problem ...

Marcus_A has explained many times about the locktimeout and deadlock in this forum ...

    Cheers
