    Talking Unanswered: 2000 & 2002 Dual Install

    Hello Friends,

Does any one know if it is necessary to have a dual install of 2000 & 2002?

The reason I ask is that I am designing a database in 2000, but just recieved a new PC with 2002 installed. Now I am the only one with 2002 in my office. I know that 2000 projects can be opened in 2002, but I am concerned about the reference libraries, some of which on 2002 will not be available to my 2000 users.

    Thanks for the help!

it has not been a problem for me...just make sure that in that in the xp version you change the OPTIONS > ADVANCED to the Access 2000 for Default file format...

Just keep in mind that some of the functions that are newly available in xp are not in 2000...
