    Unanswered: stored procedures

We have a table that has been in production for two years. The table has a column that needs to be renamed. The renaming process needs to be as seamless as possible to the users. How would you identify all the stored procedures that have a reference to the column that needs to be renamed? There are approximately 1500 stored procedures in the database.can anyone help me with this problem?

see if you can get a head start with this:

create table #tbl (objName varchar(128) not null, objType char(15) not null)
    go
    insert #tbl exec sp_depends <your_table>
    go
    select [text] from syscomments c inner join #tbl t on object_name(id) = replace(objName, 'dbo.', '')

The physical order of data in a database has no meaning.
