    Post Unanswered: Select Middle of A Recordset

    In Access 97, I am able to use the statement "SELECT TOP 10 FirstName, LastName ..." in order to get the first 10 records.

    I am trying select the middle of the recordset, something like getting the 10th to the 20th record, instead of just the top 1st to the 10th (using "SELECT TOP 10").

    Is there a clause or predicate I can use for this ?

    No there is no such clause, but you can try

    SELECT TOP 20 ......
      FROM .....
      INTO TempTable

    Then use

    SELECT TOP 10
       FROM TempTable
      ORDER BY yourField DESC;
