subforms or a query joining the tables

What are you trying to do?

    "referenced" ?

if you mean two tables "bound" to one form: no. what would "next record" or "new record" mean if there were two tables bound?

there are several ways to achieve what you probably want to achieve:

a query can combine multiple tables - and a form can be bound to a query. most times this doesn't solve the problem because the joins in the query often make the resulting recordset not updateable ...so you can see the data but not edit it.

then there are subforms. you can show data from a large number of tables on their own forms sitting as subforms in the mother form. if the tables are related, some careful code can keep everything in sync.

and my own preferred route is unbound forms: total control of what shows up in which box on the screen and which tables/fields the edited boxes update to ...but the downside is writing all the code to make it happen.
