Unanswered: Transaction log full while using DB2 load utility

    HI,
I am using the load utility to load data from files into a DB .Now i am getting a transaction log size full error on loading more than 20,000 records. Can i explicitly commit for 10000 records using load utility ,if so how do i do this ?, Because load does not suppport commitcount as import utility does.

    Hi,

Are you sure you fulled the transaction log file? According to my knowledge load operation does not use transaction log files. So be sure that someone else fulls the logs...

    Hope this helps,

You can specify a commit interval if you use the import utility, or you could do a non-recoverable load (take a full off-line backup after the load).
