Hey everyone,
My first time using dbForums, so not sure of the etiquette. The problem that I have is that I do not have a continuous internet connection but I do need to connect to my sybase database a lot of the time. In the first few lines of code that I use to connect to the DB;

import com.sybase.jdbcx.SybDriver;

and

SybDriver sybDriver = (SybDriver);
Class.forName("com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybDriver").n ewInstance();
sybDriver.setVersion(com.sybase.jdbcx.SybDriver.VE RSION_5);
DriverManager.registerDriver(sybDriver);
They connect to the internet. I heard that the files used to be contained in the old jconnect (version 2 or 2.2), but no longer.

Does anyone have any idea how I could connect to the database without having to connect to the internet?
