    Unanswered: CLI and Java

    Hi!

Is it possbile to start and analyze a CLI or a JDBC trace with java?
Are there java methods to get the same informations like a trace do?

My problem is, that a cli trace shows a lot of informations about codepages, e.g.:

    Application Codepage=850, Database Codepage=923, Char Send/Recv Codepage=850, Graphic Send/Recv Codepage=850, Application Char Codepage=850, Application Graphic Codepage=850

I want to get the same informations with java automatically.

I am not sure exactly what you want, but you can execute CLP commands from java. There is a sample of how to to it located at:
    http://www.developer.ibm.com/tech/sampdb2.html
it is "runstats.zip". Basically you run the java application from the DB2 command window. This allows for "executing" the CLP commands from the java app.
