    Unanswered: help me

    in oracle already i created more than 40 tables in every table i am having more that 2000 records how to copy the tables into another maching with data

    Can you please explain your problem in detail and if possible quote some examples as well(I mean the table structure)

    in side the user scott i create some 46 tables
    all the table starts with "ssd_"
    in every table minimum i am having 1500 records
    and i am using forms (d2k) to maintaning the data
    now i come execute the same application in another machince
    for that i need that all the data.
    so that how i can copy the tables with data (tables with records) from one machine to another machine

    1.You can user import/export utility of oracle.
    export data from scott
    import data from file to new machine

    2. You can also used database link for the same purpose

    Again i am giving the trouble to you. sorry friend i know the export and import except that export & import how to do the dblink please tell the details steps or otherwise using "CD" how to transfer from one place to another please using "CD" i can do the export & import is it possible
