    Unanswered: Character input warning with href

    Upon successful registration, I wanted a click here using href but I receive a character input warning on the following:

    <?
    $myFeedbackNotes="<p><font face='Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif'
    size='2'><b> $firstName, <a href='page.html'> click here</a> to install. </b></font></p>";
    ?>

    possibly?

    Do you know what version of PHP your running? ONe thing that I could think might help would be to put \ in front of your ' in the ""

    Hope this helps

    $myFeedbackNotes="<p><font face=\'Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\'
    size=\'2\'><b> $firstName, <a href=\'page.html\'> click here</a> to install. </b></font></p>";

    echo "$myFeedbackNotes ";

    that probably wont help at all. If that was the problem it would have given a parse error.

    Another option to fix this would be to go like this:

    <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"><b> <?php echo $firstName; ?>, <a href="page.html"> click here</a> to install. </b></font></p>
