Unanswered: Send a daily report only once

I have a DB in a multiuser environment for which I have a request to send a daily report with following features:
    1. It should be sent automatically without any user intervention.
    2. To be sent only once everyday, at any time.
    3. It can be sent by 3 users only.

Any ideas on how I can accomplish this.
    Thanks

    1) Windows Scheduler

    2) Numerous ways to do this one ... Set a flag somewhere.

    3) Permissions.

Caveat: I don't know how you can have it fire off without user intervention AND at any time ... Generally you'll have to go with one or the other ...

Only things I can suggest is a table to hold a single field, being a date.

Then before the report is run, it checks the date from this table, you could also see a list of dates when the report was sent as well (incase one of those 3 users says 'we never got the report today!!'). the Recordset would be based on the table records, and the highest entry of that table would be the last date run...

After the report has run, add an entry to the table with a simple docmd, with the days date.

    ~Or~

If your report has a date field, get the value before running the command.

I havent got time today (got to go its 5pm) but if you need me to write either of these codes in full let me know. I will have them done by tomorrow.
