Cool Unanswered: Next interval in dbms_job

What is the Syntax for NEXT INTERVAL in the job to run 1 second after the sysdate.

I need to allow the prior trigger to first commit and then the job to kick off. All are happening as a result of trigger updates.

    Sysdate + 1 second ?

Be careful what you ask for
    SYSDATE+(1/86400)
but be sure the DB is also configured to support this.

    You scare me!

Can you elaborate when you say 'configure DB' for this.

Are there any specific settings for this ?

yes in initSID.ora file or spfileSID.ora file.
Go research parameters involved with job queues.
