You may be able to use a twain active x control to capture the image. I used this a few years back to get images from a scanner.

You can get more information about TWAIN at:
    http://www.twain.org/

To use it in a database, you need to add a control to a form that is TWAIN aware. You also need TWAIN to be installed. If you have a scanner or a digital camera, it may already be installed. You may have an active x control on your computer that can be added to your form that can be used for image capture.

For Imaging in Windows9x/2000, try using the Kodak Imageing Controls: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...raphmulti.asp. If using WinowsXP, you will have to use Microsoft Windows Image Acquisition Library as support for the Kodak controls ended with WinXP http://vbnet.mvps.org/index.html?cod.../mswaidll.htm.

    Hope this helps!
