    Unanswered: compare two strings

    Hello, i'm new to access

I have two tables with data to be matched.

    Table A

    id cust_id title
    1 '1234432110' 'Hello'

    Table B
    cust_id title
    '23443211' 'Hello'

Data seems to be similar exept in table B last digit is missing.

How to do search and compare ?

I need to create another table and insert id from table a, cust_id from table a
in a case if data is similar or equal

    How to do that?

    Thank u

It depends what you want to match on. Here is a match on cust_id

SELECT TableA.*,Table.* FROM TableA JOIN TABLE B
    ON TableA.cust_id=TableB.cust_id
