Unanswered: DB2 8.1 on Linux and GRANT DBADM ... to GROUP

    hi all,

i have greated a GROUP named "gr" with a member named "mem" on Linux and granted under DB2 "DBADM" the group "gr": db2 "GRANT DBADM ON DATABASE TO GROUP gr"

but as member "mem" i don't have the DBADM authority ...

    why?

    another question:

is it possible that DB2 has problem with upper case letter for "GROUP" names?

    thanks a lot

Did you disconnect and then connect again to the database after the grant was issued ...

    Once connected can you check

    db2 get authorizations

    command's output

    Cheers
