    Talking Unanswered: database size

    Hello all,
I have a question that may be simple for you, but i don't know how?
Can anybody tell me how i can find the total size of a v7 DB2 database in AIX and in windows?
Is there any command that can perform this easily?
Cos i'm sick of calculating (and not being sure) 'df -k' results in unix and folders in windows.
    Thanks a lot,
    bys

    List Tablespace Command

    Hi,

Use the list tablespace show detail command.

That will give you the total number of pages. Multiply that by the pagesize for each tablespace add that all and it will give you the size of the db. (Total pages * pagesize)

U can also use it to know the exact amount of data size in the db as well.

    Cheers

    Nitin.
