    Unanswered: using triggers for auditing

I have never dealt with procedures/triggers in Sybase. I need to audit trail any changes(add/delete/update) made to a table A through the datapoke.

Currently I am extracting a feed from a table B , which is like a history table and contains data inserted from table A. The feed is sent to another system via an overnight job.

I need to track what changed in table A and datetime it changed. Someone suggested using triggers.

Any suggestions on how I can track these changes on a daily basis?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, I think the best way to do this is using trigger. You have to write a trigger each for insert, delete and update. The other expensive alternative could be Replication Server but I won't recommend RS for such a small work.
