    Smile Unanswered: Application Connected to DB

    Hi I'm new to Informix so please bear with me, anyway my question is Is there a way to know the ID's of the application connected to the database, e.g dbaccess , odbc, winsql etc.

    I'm searching about it for ove a day now and I'm leaning towards not believing that informix can do it coz it only cares about session ids and terminal ids (tty). Just want second opinion before I rest my case

    Thanks,
    Aris

    Hi Aris,

    You can see session connected with command onstat.
    For see connected users run onstat -u.
    For see sessions run onstat -g {sql|ses}
    Or help of onstat, run onstat --

    Gustavo.
