Question Unanswered: Date of latest dump that is loaded

    Hi colleagues,

I regularly load dumps. Mostly just full dumps.

I would like to know where to find the date of the newly loaded dump.
System table SYSDATABASES shows me only the latest DUMPTRDATE of the dump that is loaded. But when, between full dumps, I never dump a tran, this is not the date of the full dump.

Please help me to find the date of the dump I last loaded.

    Greetz,

    Peter!

This date doesn't exist on system tables.
... but you can find this information checking the backup errorlog

    Thanks Fadace.

So this means that, unless I make a tran dump as well, I can hardly check which dump is loaded using system information. Making a tran dump shortly before I make a full dump could be a workaround, right?

You can only execute a (or several) dump tran AFTER a dump database.
